Shanghai Disneyland opened in 2016 in Pudong's southeastern corner. The Enchanted Storybook Castle is the largest of any Disney castle. The Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure ride, built around projection-mapping technology rather than traditional animatronics, is unique to this park and is widely rated the best dark ride in any Disney park. TRON Lightcycle Power Run is the headline thrill.
How to get there
Metro Line 11 directly to Disney Resort station.
When to visit
Weekdays out of school holidays. Mid-November to mid-March is the quiet season.
