1918 villa in the French Concession where Sun Yat-sen lived briefly with Soong Ching-ling. Original furnishings preserved.
Sun Yat-sen, the founder of the Republic of China, lived in this Xiangshan Road house in 1918–1924. The European-style villa retains his original furnishings, library, and personal items. Combined with the adjacent Soong Ching-ling Memorial Residence (where his widow lived later) for a half-day Republican-China heritage walk.
