Prohibited uses
The following uses are not permitted:
- Bulk scraping for commercial AI training without honouring the terms set out in the
ai.txtfile published at chinavisitguide.com/ai.txt. That file specifies the conditions under which automated harvesting of content for model training is acceptable. - Redistributing the site as a paid product — packaging content from this site behind a paywall, subscription or one-off purchase, whether as a download, print product, or reskinned website.
- Impersonating the publication — using the name ChinaVisitGuide, logos, or editorial voice in a way that could lead a reasonable person to believe they are reading the original site.
- Running modified mirrors — copying material to another domain, with or without modification, so as to divert search traffic from the original.
- Automated requests that degrade the service — crawling at rates that place unreasonable load on the infrastructure, or circumventing rate limits.
Submitted content
When you submit a correction, a suggestion, or your email address via a newsletter form, you are voluntarily providing that information. We may use submitted factual corrections editorially — for example, to update a page — but we will not attribute submissions by name without your consent.
