珠海金湾机场 · ZUH / ZGSD. The airport for Zhuhai — Guangdong's resort city adjacent to Macau, linked to Hong Kong by the world's longest sea bridge, with access to the Pearl River Delta attractions.
About this airport
Zhuhai Jinwan Airport serves Zhuhai, a Special Economic Zone city on the western shore of the Pearl River estuary, directly adjacent to the Macau Special Administrative Region. Zhuhai's geography and economic character have been shaped by its position: it was one of the original four SEZs established in the early 1980s to attract foreign investment, and its border with Macau drove significant cross-boundary commercial and leisure activity.
The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge — the world's longest sea crossing bridge at 55 km, opened in 2018 — connects Zhuhai (and Macau) to Hong Kong, transforming the regional transport geography. What previously required ferry crossings can now be covered by bus or taxi in approximately 40 minutes across the bridge.
International connections from ZUH include routes to Southeast Asia and some other Asian destinations [VERIFY: current routes — May 2026]. The airport is a practical alternative to Guangzhou for those visiting Zhuhai, Macau or the western Pearl River Delta.
Zhuhai is among the most pleasant and liveable Chinese cities: lower population density than Shenzhen, a significant stretch of coastal boulevard (the Lover's Road along the waterfront), and the direct access to Macau's unique cultural landscape (Portuguese colonial architecture, casinos, the UNESCO-listed historic centre, and Macanese cuisine) via the land border or Taipa Ferry. The Hong Kong connection via the bridge adds the possibility of a three-city Pearl River Delta circuit in a short visit.
