Nanning Wuxu International Airport serves Nanning, the capital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Nanning's position in subtropical southern China, 160 km from the Vietnamese border, gives it a character distinct from other Chinese provincial capitals: the climate is warm and wet year-round, the vegetation lush, and the cultural and commercial connections with Vietnam immediate and continuous. The two cities together, connected by HSR, give a comprehensive picture of Guangxi.
