China visa for Colombia citizens
Colombian passport holders are eligible for 30-day visa-free entry to mainland China as of 2024. Hong Kong 90 days, Macau 30 days.

Colombian ordinary passport holders are eligible for the 30-day visa-free entry to mainland China for tourism, business, family visit or transit. Colombia was included in the 2024 expansion.
What you need at the border
- Passport valid at least 6 months beyond intended stay.
- Onward ticket.
- Hotel booking or address.
- Digital customs declaration at arrival.
Scope
Tourism, business meetings, family visits. Tibet requires the Tibet Travel Permit. Stays beyond 30 days need an L visa from the Chinese Embassy in Bogotá.
Hong Kong and Macau
Colombian passport-holders are visa-free for Hong Kong (90 days) and Macau (30 days). Mainland entry rights are separate.
Practical notes
Bogotá–China flights route through major hubs in North America or Europe. Travel times are significant; the 30-day window is generally sufficient for a straightforward leisure or business trip.
