Argentine ordinary passport holders are eligible for the 30-day visa-free entry to mainland China for tourism, business, family visit or transit. Argentina was included in the 2024 expansion of China's visa-free programme.

Scope

Tourism, business meetings, family visits. Tibet requires the Tibet Travel Permit through a licensed agency. Stays over 30 days require an L visa from the Chinese Embassy in Buenos Aires.

Hong Kong and Macau

Argentine passport-holders are visa-free for Hong Kong (90 days) and Macau (30 days). These are separate from mainland entry rights.
