Visiting and hours

The Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing handles consular services for Thai nationals in northern and central mainland China. Services include passport renewals, notarial acts, civil registry assistance, and general consular support.

Appointments are required for most services; details are on the Embassy website. The Guanghua Road location is in Chaoyang's diplomatic district, accessible by taxi and metro. Emergency contact outside business hours is available through the Embassy's duty line. Thai nationals in China are advised to register their residence with the Embassy for emergency communication purposes. Thailand also maintains consulates in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Kunming, Chengdu, and Xiamen.
