Visiting and hours

The South Korean Embassy in Beijing serves the substantial Korean national community across mainland China. Korea maintains one of the largest diplomatic presences in China, with additional consulates in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenyang, Qingdao, and Wuhan.

Services include passport renewals, certificate of family relationship issuance, notarial acts, military service documentation, and general consular assistance. Korea requires appointments for most services; book online through the Embassy's appointment portal. Emergency contact outside business hours is through the duty line listed on the Embassy website. Korean nationals are encouraged to register their stay through the Overseas Koreans Foundation network.
