Consular services

Passport services, consular assistance, notarial services, birth and marriage registrations for Singaporeans in China.

Visiting and hours

The Singapore Embassy in Beijing handles consular matters for Singaporean citizens throughout mainland China. Services include passport applications and renewals, registration of births and marriages, notarial services, and general consular assistance.

Singapore allows many passport and registration services to be initiated online through the ICA (Immigration & Checkpoints Authority) website; the Embassy handles in-person applications and cases requiring original document submission. Appointments are required; book through the Embassy website.

The Xiushui (Silk Street) location in Chaoyang is well-known and accessible. Emergency contact for Singaporeans outside business hours is available; the duty line is listed on the Embassy website. Singapore nationals can also use the MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) mobile app for consular registration and assistance requests.

Addresses, phone numbers, and appointment procedures change. Always confirm current details on the official embassy or consulate website before attending. In genuine emergencies, use the out-of-hours duty line rather than daytime contact numbers.
